I've been checking Google/yelp at least once a week to see if they're open since they closed (three trips from Irvine just to double-check lol)! It's our favorite Thai spot in Orange County, no one does it quite like them. They're always so kind and welcoming, with excellent service. As much as it pains me when I'm craving it, I admire their commitment to only serving mango sticky rice when the mangos are in season. Everything is always delicious. Our go-to dishes are the BBQ combo, drunken noodles, pad Thai, and the Thai garlic short ribs, garlic fish.
this is a review that's well overdue its time :') as of now, I believe the restaurant is closed until further notice but that doesn't stop my hopes of it being reopened. from what I remember, the food was top tier!!! the khao soi was comforting and the curry soup was delicious. it's everything you want and more in a soup. the nam sod was fresh and not heavy at all! it was great to have and very fulfilling. the garlic short ribs were yummy and tender as well. lastly, do not skip out on the mango sticky rice if you get the chance to dine here. it was a nice dessert to end our evening :) would return once/if reopened! everything was delicious and the service was excellent.
I absolutely love this place! Its family owned and will be closed down for the holidays this year! I am so bummed that they will be closed for a whole month! Anyhow when you walk in, theres lots of seatings. So you can find a table or booth big enough! We ordered the following items: Egg roles Beef & Broccoli Pad Thai Tom Kha Shrimp Soup Thai Tea All items were brought out fresh and were very good! I would give them all a 9.5/10. The service is quick, I think they are husband and wife and they try to get to you in a timely manner! YOU HAVE TO HAVE ZELLE!!!! A great place with affordable prices!
1. The meats were tender and delicious, and the rice was flavorful! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! 3. There are indoor tables available! 4. The staff were friendly, and my order took about 25 mins! 5. Parking lot is small, but it is not busy! Note: They only accept cash or Zelle for payment! I absolutely love this restaurant! Great food and the owners are friendly. My boys & I are waiting for them to reopen. Does anyone know if they are officially closed?
